A group of snowboarders get instructions recently on the Mountain Run trail at the Whiteface Mountain Ski Area in Wilmington. As of Tuesday, the ski area had 72 trails open on a primary surface of packed powder, according to the mountain’s daily report. The ski area is scheduled to close for the season April 14.
