Where in the world is USA Bobsled/Skeleton?

The USA Bobsled & Skeleton team is taking a week off from competition before heading to Konigssee, Germany for the World Championships on Feb. 17-26.

The final BMW IBSF World Cup will be held March 17-19 in PyeongChang, S. Korea.

The team has 20 medals for the season so far, picking up three this past weekend in Igls, Austria: Elana Meyers Taylor and Lolo Jones (gold), Jamie Greubel Poser and Aja Evans (bronze) and Steve Holcomb (bronze) for four-man bobsled with Carlo Valdes, James Reed and Samuel McGuffie.

With two gold medals, a silver and two bronzes, pilot Steve Holcomb is second in the two-man and third in the four-man bob.

For the women bobsledders, Jamie Greubel Poser -?with a gold, silver and four bronzes - is second in the ranking and Elana Meyers Taylor is third with four golds and two silvers.

In men's skeleton, Matt Antoine is ranked eighth with a silver and a bronze.

In women's skeleton, Anne O'Shea is ninth and Kendall Wesenberg, with one silver medal, is 12th.

USA Bobsled & Skeleton headquarters is located in Lake Placid.
