USA Luge team members, from left, Justin Krewson and Andrew Sherk (doubles) and Taylor Morris (singles) gave up their rightfully earned spot in the recent World Championship team relay, in favor of teammates they thought would help USA Luge win a medal. Their sense of team over self enabled Tucker West, Matt Mortensen and Jayson Terdiman to join Erin Hamlin and led to a silver medal in Igls, Austria. It was the team’s third medal at worlds.
