Where in the world is USA Bobsled & Skeleton?

The USA Bobsled & Skeleton team is competing in the fourth BMW IBSF World Cup on Jan. 13-15 in Winterberg, Germany.

Racing will begin Jan. 13 with women's bobsled and will be followed by men's skeleton and two-man bobsled on Jan. 14. Women's skeleton and four-person bobsled Jan. 15 will conclude the weekend.

The team has eight medals for the season so far.

With two gold medals, pilot Steve Holcomb is ranked third in the four-man bobsled and fourth in the two-man.

Ranked 10th in two- and four-man bobsled, Codie Bascue of Whitehall, New York, will look to get back on track this weekend.

For the women bobsledders, Jamie Greubel Poser -?with a gold and a bronze - is currently second in the overall World Cup ranking. Elana Meyers Taylor is sixth with two silvers and Brittany Reinbolt is ninth.

In men's skeleton, Matt Antoine is ranked third with a silver and a bronze.

In women's skeleton, Anne O'Shea is ninth.

USA Bobsled & Skeleton headquarters is located in Lake Placid.
