Thank you, Joshua Fund

To the editor:

Two years ago I adopted a beautiful rescue Pekingese named Juni (Junebug). She had cataracts in both eyes and glaucoma in one eye but it didn't slow her down. Whether greeting people in the apartment building she lives in or while visiting at the nursing homes riding on Judy's lap she's never met a hand she didn't like. It became painfully obvious that the glaucoma in her eye had gotten worse and the eye was removed. We started using eye drops in the other eye to keep the pressure down but we couldn't control it for long. She had to have that eye removed. The last operation was last month and she is like a new dog. Enjoying playing in the grass, smelling all the love notes that the other dogs have left on the lawn and especially beating the tar out of her stuffed ducky. We went to a birthday party and I don't know which is cuter her birthday hat or her happy smile.

I don't know where we would be without the help from the Joshua Fund. With their help Juni was able to get the medical attention that she needed for a full and happy life. So Juni and I would like to thank you Dan Bain and the Joshua Fund from the bottom of our fuzzy hearts. To donate or for information go to you again.
