LAKE PLACID - Chicken and biscuits, and baked ziti will be the main courses of a dinner being held to help a local man with his medical bills.

Damon Mihill, an employee of Lake Placid Rental and Supply, recently had a toe amputated due to an infection in his foot. He has been out of work for some time and is attempting to pay medical bills.

"Any help would be greatly appreciated to get him through this rough time and buck up on his feet while he's out of work," his daughter Amber Mihill wrote in an announcement she emailed to the newspaper.

The dinner will be held from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 12 at WiseGuys Sports Bar & Grill. Tickets to attend cost $10 for adults or $6 for children 10 and under.

Takeout and delivery are available by calling 518-523-4446 or 518-637-1432.

Tickets for a 50-50 raffle are available at Wise Guys Sports Bar & Grill and Bowlwinkles.

Donations can be made directly to Mihill, for those who can't make the dinner. He lives at 66 Jersey Drive, Lake Placid, NY 12946.
