Thanks for the prom support

Lake Placid News

To the editor:

I am writing to report that our Lake Placid Prom and After the Prom were wonderful successes. The community support for the alcohol and drug-free "All Night Party" was very generous. We were able to provide every attendee with a door prize. We were successful in having students who did not attend the Prom come out for the After Prom party. All prizes were very appreciated. The entertainment provided a festive atmosphere.

Thank you for allowing me to publicly thank the following individuals and businesses who made this safe event possible: Adirondack Bank, Adirondack Premier Properties, Inc., Adirondack Yarns, Art Jubin, Bear Essentials, Black Bear Restaurant, Bookstore Plus, BowlWinkles, Briggs Norfolk LLP, Burnham Benefit Advisors, Central Garage, Chair 6, Charlene Richards, CHE Hockey, Community Bank, Cora Clark, Craig Wood Golf, Crown Plaza, Dragon Benware, CPA, Emma's Lake Placid Creamery, Engel & Volkers Real Estate, Eye Peek, Fireside Steak House, Golden Arrow, Great Adirondack Steak & Seafood, Gwyn-Anne Bissonette, Hannafords, Healing Elements, High Peaks Cyclery, Interlaken Inn, Kelly Rose & Meg McCandlish, Lake Placid Kiwanis Club, Lake Placid Animal Hospital, Lake Placid Center for the Arts, lake Placid Soccer Centre, Lake Placid/Wilmington Connecting Youth and Communities, Lake Placid Volunteer Fire Department, Marcia & Jim Brooks, Martina's European Skin Care, Mirror Lake Inn, Nancy Battaglia Photography, NBT Bank, Palace Theatre, Price Chopper, Roy's Electric, Sharon VanAuken, Simply Gourmet, Stewart's, The Cowboy, Whiteface Club and Resort and William Kissell.
