LPCA to present documentary about women’s ski jumping Oct. 13

LAKE PLACID - The Lake Placid Center for the Arts will present the new documentary "Ready to Fly," which chronicles the US Women's Ski Jumping Team's fight to be recognized as an Olympic sport at 8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 13.

Immediately following the film, members of the US Women's Ski Jumping Team will be available for a question and answer session with the audience.

Tickets are $10 each and are available by calling the LPCA Box Office at 518-523-2512 or online at www.lakeplacidarts.org. All proceeds from the event benefit the LPCA and USWSJT.
