To the editor:
I want to thank all the people and businesses in Lake Placid and Wilmington who supported the recent "Jim Kordziel Basketball Playday" at Lake Placid High School.
The response was tremendous and enjoyed by all the teams who participated. Organized by Brian Brandes and Patty McConvey, many others helped in various ways to make the day a success. Jim was very active with the youth of our communities and it is nice to have such an event to remember him.
What a wonderful community we live in. Thank you all very much.
