Jacqueline Nicole Roy and Carlton Thomas Hallock were married on Saturday, September 1, 2012 at St. Peter's Church in Plattsburgh, NY. The Reverend John Downs, Ms. Roy's hometown priest from Massena, NY, and Deacon Mark Bennett from St. Peter's Catholic Church, performed the ceremony.
The couple met at WPTZ-TV in Plattsburgh where Mr. Hallock was a news anchor and Ms. Roy a news producer. They currently reside in Plattsburgh.
Ms. Roy is an Assistant Vice President and Branch Manager at Champlain National Bank in Lake Placid. She received a Master of Science from the London School of Economics and a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from St. Lawrence University. She grew up and graduated from high school in Massena, NY. The bride is the daughter of Robert and Patricia Roy of Montreal, Quebec.
Mr. Hallock is an Anchor and Senior News Producer at Mountain Lake PBS in Plattsburgh. Before that, he was a television news anchor at WPTZ for 11 years. He has also worked as a news anchor in Portland, Maine; Bangor, Maine and Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. He received a Bachelor of Arts from Plattsburgh State University. Thom grew up on a dairy farm in Gilboa, NY. The groom is the son of Anne Hallock and the late Carlton Hallock of Gilboa.
