To the editor:
I would like to congratulate the Lake Placid Police Department and especially Chief Bill Moore on the March 30 arrests of Stephanie Brooks and Krystle Vicans. These women have been charged with the March 17 theft of merchandise at Beglins Jewelers of Lake Placid.
I would also like to thank the New York State Police and New York State Department of Corrections for their assistance in the case.
