To the editor:
The Mirror Lake Watershed Association would like to thank Brian and Karen Delaney, High Peaks Cyclery, and Patagonia for sponsoring the Wild and Scenic Film Fest at the Lake Placid Center for The Arts, which could become an annual event. The movies were entertaining and awareness raising concerning our environment. High Peaks Cyclery and Patagonia raised $1000 which was donated to The Association. A portion of that donation will be used to help the flood victims from Tropical Storm Irene.
