We agree wholeheartedly and appreciate the years of dedicated effort you and your group have put into making the railside trail a reality. We will anxiously support and contribute to the necessary fundraising and hope the project can move forward quickly.
We attended the ARTA meeting last week and were very impressed by the experienced and dedicated group that has gathered for the ambitious project of converting the current rail to a trail. We wholeheartedly agree with their mission, and will be supporting their organization as well. However, we concur with Mr. Damp that now is the time to move forward with the side-by-side trail.
For safety and economic reasons, this area needs a path now. Please join us in supporting the town of North Elba. Let’s get this done.
