Another major snowstorm and still the same result in Lake Placid. At 6:45 a.m. on Thursday Feb 3, all main roads and sidewalks in the village were plowed and cleared of snow.
This is not an isolated occurrence. Since as far back as I can remember (1950s?), the village crews have always done a superb job of snow removal.
They have developed a culture in which they take a lot of pride in their work and they should be commended for the good job they do.
