To the editor:
On New Year’s Day, we were reminded once again of the generous community we live in. EMTs Michael Marshall and Jordan Favro volunteered their time to gently assess a scary situation and swiftly transport us to AMC in Lake Placid. The staff there — nurses Kelly Webb and Cora Clarke, and Dr. Bob Pitts — were professional, helpful and compassionate to both of us, and we appreciate everything that was done for us.
The world is a better place with all these folks in it!
