To the editor:
The other day I was stopped in my car between the Town Hall and Central Garage in Lake Placid, and I heard an 8-year-old boy talking to his parents in the cross walk. The boy said, “Mom, look at the most beautiful gas station I have ever seen.” I could not help feeling the same sense of appreciation for the Strack’s family investment in the center of our beautiful village.
Thank you main street store fronts along with the beautification committee for doing such a tremendous job.
