DISC GOLF HITS WHITEFACE

The state Olympic Regional Development Authority will host a grand opening of the Whiteface Disc Golf Course on Friday, July 10 and on that day only, it will offer free disc golfing from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for the event. The new course features nine distinct “holes” around the lower part of Whiteface. Pictured are some of the sights on the course. The cost is $5 for one round and disc, and $2 for each additional disc. There are three discs: A driver, mid range and putter. For more information, call 946-2223.
