Covering the Adirondacks like never before

June 15, 2009
Lake Placid News
EMBARK, our outdoor recreation magazine, is about to come out soon with its July/August issue. This time the News has partnered with our sister daily newspaper, the Leader Herald in Gloversville at the southern end of the Adirondack Park, to reach readers from that neck of the woods. Doing so will quadruple the print run to 40,000 copies.

The News has also collaborated with the Adirondack Program of the Wildlife Conservation Society, on behalf of the Adirondack Forest Preserve Education Partnership. They will present their material on outdoor recreation in the Adirondacks with numerous articles in the next issue. They also will help distribute EMBARK to Adirondack groups interested in hiking, camping and fishing.

The News is proud to announce these partnerships that will make EMBARK the largest circulated newspaper in the Adirondacks with expert and interesting articles that have made the first issue so successful.

For those who are interested in advertising in the July/August edition of EMBARK, hurry because the deadline is Monday, June 15.

Those interested in subscribing, send $10 to EMBARK, c/o ADE, P.O. Box 318, Saranac Lake, NY 12983.
