LAKE PLACID — Donald M. Ashwood, 90, of Cobble Hill Road, died Jan. 1, 2009 at Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake.
He was born Nov. 4, 1918 in Ogdensburg.
He was a graduate of the Ogdensburg Free Academy and, prior to retiring, he was vice-president of marketing and advertising at the Community Bank in Canton.
There were no public calling hours. A funeral Mass was offered Monday, Jan. 5 at St. Agnes Church in Lake Placid. Cremation followed.
The Clark Funeral Home in Lake Placid was in charge of arrangements.
