Surveys due June 1

LAKE PLACID — Lake Placid residents only have a few more days to make their voices heard in the Lake Placid/Essex County Visitors Bureau’s Resident Survey.
According to bureau Media Communications Manager Chris Ward, the bureau has received about 500 responses so far from the roughly 3,500 surveys sent to Lake Placid addresses.
“It’s really important for the community to participate because it’s only going to help them as we brand the community and move forward,” he said. “We are hoping over the next four days to really get people excited about the survey.”
Residents who do not have access to a computer or experience problems when filling out the online survey are asked to contact the bureau at 523-2445 for assistance. All responses must be received by June 1.
