This is probably the most positive event to take place in the former Nettie Marie Jones Fine Arts Library in years. To me the work on the glass negatives / Stedman Collection in part is a continuation of a project that was begun when Dr. George Hart directed this important collection of antique photographic glass plates to the former Lake Placid School of Art for photography instructor Richard Kauffman A.K.A. Helmmo Kinderman to study and assist in preserving. I am delighted to know that Jennifer Stufano has a new office and exhibition space in this grand building that was once a very important component of the former Lake Placid School of Art and Center for Music, Drama & Art. Further it would be wonderful if Jennifer would curate the most important and valuable Victor Herbert Collection and documents which now seems to have been seperated and in part rest in a sad corner of the lobby. Congratulations Jennifer Stufano & Lake Placid Museum.
