TRIP REPORT: Street, Nye

Another great day in the woods Saturday, this time on Street and Nye.

We left the Indian Pass Trail register box at about 11 a.m.

We reached Indian Pass Brook after a mile or so of easy walking.

The crossing was a little dicey, but we managed to stay dry with a little effort.

The trail stayed flat for a while, but then started to climb pretty steeply.

The fluffy, fresh snow piled up the higher we climbed.

Gordon waited impatiently for us to get up the trail.

Nye is close to the junction. You get a good look at Street on the way back down from Nye.

The views from the lookout just over the top of Street were incredible. The MacIntyre Range was in full view.

Algonquin and Boundary

Indian Pass

We had to pull over on Adirondack Loj Road on the way out for this amazing sunset.

The whole trip took us about 7½ hours.
